So, I'm looking for alternatives to TouchCopy. TouchCopy's only response was to check and make sure that I was running the latest version of the Windows. My new Dell PC has run perfectly in every way and allows all of my other programs, including iTunes with my iPod recognized, to launch. However, TouchCopy 16 will no longer launch for me because of 1) something in one of the numerous and infamous Windows updates disabled something that TouchCopy needs to run, or 2) because of something in how my new (one month) Dell Inspiron 3880 with Windows 10 Home is configured. The amount of music and number of files on it is more than I can handle manually, so for the last few years, I've used TouchCopy (TC12,TC16) as my music file and backup manager, and been very happy with the arrangement. I have an old 160G iPod Classic that works fine.
